AIM:-
- To determine of moisture content of fine aggregate.
- As per IS : 2386 (part - 3)
APPARATUS:-
- Balance -capacity up to 2 kg accuracy not less than 0.5 gm.
- Hot air oven- temperature- (110 ± 5°C ).
- Enamel Tray.
- A suitable container or flask of glass or preferably noncorrosive metal.
- SAMPLE:- Sample Preparation
Take a representative sample of coarse aggregate of about 2–5 kg.
PROCEDURE:-
Step 1: Weigh Wet Sample
1. Place the moist aggregate sample into a clean metal tray.
2. Weigh the entire wet sample.
Step 2: Oven Drying
1. Place the sample in the oven at 105°C to 110°C.
Step 3: Cool and Weigh Dry Sample
1. Remove the sample from the oven.
3. Weigh the dry sample.
